I don’t do introduction posts, because they seem tacky and awful. But I might potentially treat this as a synopsis post. I don’t know if you can sticky on tumblr. I am a livejournal person.

This has two points really:

1. music recs: I get to share my passion and glee for music without annoying my friends constantly.

2. (legally) free music: I get to share music without annoying artists, or messing about with legalities.

So I basically want to spam tumblr with music that I love and where to get it free. So that’s all this is going to be: free music recommendations. Everything here is going to be legally free to download because the artist has allowed it to be shared online.

But there is a lot of free music you can get, that isn’t great. So I’m going to recommend some songs/artists I really like. I have eclectic tastes, so there’s likely to be a range of music, from dubstep to indie pop to quasi-folk and synth. Unlikely to have Gaga though. Does she do free music? I don’t know, maybe.

My last.fm can be found here. (Feel free to add me if you like.) That might give you an idea of what music I listen to. The most listened to are kind of skewed though, my iTunes got left on for something like 24 hours by accident. The obsession with Yeah Yeah Yeahs is valid. So is the Paramore, much to my disgust now. My eighteen year old self should be ashamed.
